Salu-salo

Salu-salo is an offertory song with an Gregorian Chant feel in it. It has a solemn quiet feel in the beginning which becomes grand towards the end. I have been trying to find the composer of this song, but I can't find him/her. Anyway, I really find this song very liturgical and appropriate this season of lent (or any season at that matter).

Glory to God - Papal Visit Concluding Mass 2015

It's been a long time since I posted something here. Apologies for that. Anyway, it has also been a year since we, in the Philippines, were visited by the Pope himself. Truly, it was a moving experience for all of us. Known with it's passion in serving the Church properly, the Filipino Liturgists and Mass Song Composers didn't let this moment pass without producing music specifically for this momentous event.

Now, I am posting the "Gloria" sang by the thousand-member choir assembled during the concluding mass in Luneta Grandstand since our choir group will also sing this in the coming Sundays.

Pasasalamat ng Puso - Misa Solemne Transcription

Hi again!

I made a separate post for this so that it won't get crowded :) This is one of the songs by Alejandro D. Consolacion II sang by the Solemne Music Ministry. This song, entitled "Pasasalamat ng Puso" is a beautiful song appropriately sang during the offertory. This might become just like the one of the classic offertory song such as "Unang Alay"- as a popular offertory song in the Philippines.

Misa Solemne Transcriptions

Hi guys!

So, our choir group is now learning the Songs of the Solemn Mass Music Ministry from their Misa Solemne Album. I retranscribed the scores using Musescore and have come up with mp3s of each of the voices as well as the whole thing. Since I used Musescore, the mp3 files are only showing the tone but not the words.

May this help all of us to learn the craft faster and better serve the Lord. :)
